Others have done an in-depth analysis with pictures, so I will just add my two cents -- this bag has a LOT of pockets and little zippered spots. My CFI looked at it and went, "wow, it looks fancy and that's a LOT of pockets!" They are all very usable shapes and sizes too. Plus sides: many places to put things, several configuration options, and lots of room for gear. No risk of the bottomless "purse" phenomenon here so long as you are organized. Downsides: "Wait, where did I put my headlamp again?? That zipper pocket? The top? Is it in the little pouch?? Uhhh...your controls, Iiiiiii'mm gonna need a minute."The Velcro divider system in the main storage spot is great, though I wish they had added padding at the bottom as well -- that would make it better for sensitive electronics like nice headsets and cameras. I have my David Clark H10-76 inside the main compartment at the opening end -- easy to grab, less likelihood of banging it on things, less bending of cords. I take care of my stuff, so I like that.Aside from that, I carry a sectional, iPad Pro 11 inch (with a thin case), simple aluminum knee board and notepad, headlamp, flashlight, basic first aid kit, trauma kit (clotting gauze and compression wrap), multi-tool, extra pen and pencil, a few USB cables of various flavors, sunnies, logbook, and gloves. There is still plenty of room to add an airband VHF radio, backup USB power pack, some snacks, a sump bottle, and extra little doodads if I wanted. Literally have unused pockets and pouches left. The material on the outside is pretty nice, zippers look to be decent YKK models, though not the most robust (plastic) -- I wouldn't strain them too often. Internal material (the red stuff) and the thickness of the padding is where it feels a little cheap, but not the end of the world. The stitching is pretty good too, save the logo -- it's not the BEST embroidery, but we are pilots and not seamstresses after all.Overall it looks cool, holds a lot of stuff, and allows you to keep it organized. If you want something unique, flexible, and of decent quality, I would recommend this bag! I'd give it 4.5 stars if that was an option.
