I got it for my mom. It was too big for her in person as we could not decide from the size so we ordered.I got for her three colors to choose but since the size was too big they all went back. However I am here to tell you what I feel about this bag, honestly and without holding back a thing. I normally buy for myself high end bags. My favorite brand is Kate Spade and I own a fab real leather tote that easily holds my laptop and then some so my review will be from this perspective..THE MATERIALI am not sure if it is real leather. I can't tell. These days they make fakes so well that one has really problem telling without some gymnastics. So I don't know. However it does look amazing and does look like leather totally! And NOT a cheap one to that. If you would line up this bag with other totes of the other brands and ask your friend to tell which one is the most expensive one.. without revealing brand logos this bag would be a winner. It is so well designed inside and out and has is of such a great quality.THE TEXTUREThe texture of this bag is fab. It is a pebbled type of leather finish. My favorite as it is a choice for most highest priced high end bags because it does look like leather more so then any other flat or parchment type finishes. Just awesomeTHE COLORSo I saw the three in person: The green, the blue and the beige. All are fantastic. Very even color application, zero flaws, very well saturated, great color choices. My fav were Green and Blue becauseyou know, Green is in.. and the Blue is very "geeky/techie" and modern and since it is ideal for home for your big screen device hence the blue :). The Beige is very forgiving and looks like could work with many color combinations whatever you have since it is pretty neutral color. I did not like it as much as the other two but it truly did seem practical. My mom did not like it though and she said it look like dirty white - whatever it means. It did not seem that to me but that gives you another person's honest opinion in the same review :)OUTSIDE- Detachable stripe. Awesome.- Adjustable handles - who would not love those? Not only will fit your preference but also should you change it, you can adjust in a flat minute.- The vertical seam - love it. It is very un-boring. Adds visual interest to the bag. BIG TIME.STRUCTURESo.. it here is another huge point for the bag... It does look so expensive because it is made in the fashion of very expensive bags.. how?- It has a very well defined articulated bottom that is flat inside. This is a characteristic of good bags. The generous bottom is a must for a spacious and practical bag.- The bottom on the outside has little metal pins that protect the bag from the surfaces that it sits on and things like dirt, scratches etc. are non issue having those legs. Also, only high end bags really...- The zipper. Ah, yes... the bags with zipper set the rest apart. SAFETY! The open top bags ask for trouble. It is so easy to just grab stuff from zip-less bag that has always open top. All the precious stuff feels safer behind the zipper. It is safer from anyone who would like to take advantage of the situation but also safer for you not to drop anything in situations like.. overhead language need be. Or similar NON- vertical situations.INTERIORIn one word? Cushy. In another word? Roomy! In the third word "Pockety!"It is so well padded inside that your screen device will LOVE IT.It is super roomy. I am a person for whom a tote is a home away from home.. so I love to keep there my essential stuff. This bag accommodates everything I ever need to put in it.The many pockets and compartments - oh I love them. I just love my stuff to be organized and neatly housed. I am somewhat obsessed with order so whenever I buy bags, pockets are absolute must.There is one huge pocket running all the width, it comes with zipper. You can keep there all the precious stuff of the larger size.Then there are smaller compartments and one side pocket inside with zipper as well. To me that would be a house for the wallet and or car keys.The two internal side pockets on the other side would make perfect home for cellphone and glasses or and a bottle of water I suppose.The bag width is such that would fit easily the larger of the foldable rain umbrellas in case you wondered.Overall interior is really awesome and well designed.ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENTIf I could suggest something, I would like to see those bags also with silver metal accents aside from gold because there is just as many people who like and look for silver metal accents as the ones who look for gold ones. Otherwise the bag is really remarkably well designed and worth a try.POTENTIALI feel that this bag would last the regular use for at least couple of years without any issues given the quality.SMELLI am hugely sensitive to smells and if something smells bad or chemical or alike, it goes back.Those bags in all three colors did not have any smells to report. Definitely not a problem here.BOTTOM LINEI found those bags to be of really great quality, very reasonably priced and as such they have pretty good value. They look very presentable in person and high end. They look expensive and promise a good and long ownership. Very well made, very well styled, very well finished inside and out.Do I recommend them? Totally! Even if you don't need it as your basic bag it looks perfect as an extra tote for travel or carry laptop around etc.. It is large enough for me to travel between my work office and my home office. It has room and pockets for all I want to carry with me. I gave four stars for durability because the handles are thin and I'm afraid they won't withstand much use. The addition of the cross-body strap should help with this. The bag won't stand up on its own when it's empty, so that may also affect the durability/how long it will last. I chose this bag because many reviewers said it did NOT have an odor to it. They were correct! The bag actually smells nice.I am a teacher and have used countless bags over the years. This bag surpasses them all. It’s light weight, stylish, a comfortable carry, and the dividers are great for organization. I am so pleased with this find. This bag is the best!I bought this bag for commuting to work and so far I'm happy with my purchase. It is stylish and has enough room/compartments to carry my laptop and other personal stuff. The only thing I dislike about it is that there is no pocket on the outside of the bag. I'm not sure how durable it will be, but time will tell. I bought it in Black, Navy & what looks like a Saddle Brown. I also bought two more Saddle Brown ones & they were direct shipped to friends!! I also use them if I have a content overflow when I take a small purse, & keep the tote in the car.I can’t say enough good things about this bag. I love the padded internal pocket or my laptop since I can be kind of clumsy. All the zippers and storage pockets are great. I don’t worry when it’s raining because this is waterproof and it seals up nicely. A nice feature is being able to either carry it by both straps over the shoulder or using the one added shoulder strap if the bag is heavier that day. I would buy this in every color if I could.Honestly it exceeded my expectations. I expected a super cheaply made vegan leather. This is real super soft leather and looks like it was expensive. My favorite new purchase. I just wish it was packaged a bit better because I slightly slit the bag with a box cutter because it’s just placed in the boxQuality is great. It is lightweight and it looks good. Bought brown.
